At Syon Early Years, the whole team is all about bringing a sense of belonging to what is a very special place. Through our on-site Autism, Learning and Development Centre, we have created somewhere with a true sense of community and awareness.
It’s a place where people look after each other and look out for each other, a hub of activity at the centre of the nursery. There’s always something going on, be it parents simply grabbing a coffee together, a support group or workshop, or just a place to share news and views.
Being on-site brings a host of benefits for families and carers. We are constantly looking to extend the support network that is offered to families, staff and children – it’s a hive of activity which exists to achieve the best outcome for every single child we support.
At the Autism Centre, you will see that we take a person-centred approach to all we do, and there is always something going on that relates to the needs of our little people. The centre is a hub for providing support, training and advice for parents and professionals who want to know and understand more about SEN and autism. And everything we do is delivered to the highest standards by our fully-trained staff. Our team of staff have experience with Special Educational Needs (SEN), and have access to a clinical team with a range of specialisms in dealing with neurodiversity in children.
Every day there is something to learn, and we are proud to have developed a space which is so useful to so many people. We will use this area to add resources and tips to help support parents and carers.
